Hello there! I’m quite excited to write the first post on this website. I really hope this is the first of many to come. I think I’ll use this opportunity to introduce myself, and to outline my plans for this website.
Who am I?
My name is Aryaveer Singh Rawat, which I usually stylize as “aryaveersr” on the internet. I’m from India and am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai. I’ve been curious about all things technology since I was a kid, and started to really get into it when I was in high school.
I’m currently interested in compilers and am studying up on the relevant theory. I have made a toy compiler in Rust, which happens to be my favorite language and the one I usually reach for whenever I’m starting a new project.
What will I write about?
The first and biggest reason that I have for writing on this blog is to develop a better understanding of the topics I write about. Writing helps me make my thoughts more coherent and points out any holes in my knowledge. Thus, I hope to write about things that I’m learning as I go along.
Another reason for writing is to document anything I do or discover that might be useful for future me and hopefully for others as well. I hope to one day look back at my posts as an archive of what I’ve learnt and accomplished.
